Jackie Neary has built a dynasty from scratch with the Cabrini women’s lacrosse program.
Since starting the program in 1997, Neary has led the Cavs to 20 CSAC and Atlantic East titles and 17 NCAA tourney berths. Neary has posted an impressive overall mark and has been a 13-time CSAC coach of the year in lacrosse. Neary, who is also the head field hockey coach and coordinator of student-athlete wellness at Cabrini, served as the assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Temple University from 1991-94.
Neary played collegiate lacrosse at Temple, where she helped the Lady Owls win the 1984 NCAA Division I lax title. Cabrini University assistant Coach Julie Cross, a former standout player at Syracuse, will serve as the lead coach at the Cavalier Lacrosse School.
Bobbi Morgan has served as a coach, counselor, co-director, and director at Main Line area youth camps for the last 25 years.
For the past 20 years, she has directed the highly successful Haverford Girls’ Basketball Camp and has been co-director of the Cavalier Lacrosse School since 2007.
A former assistant lacrosse coach at Haverford High School, Morgan just completed her 18th season coaching college basketball. She has served as the head coach at Cabrini, Haverford College and is currently the head coach Ursinus College.
Kate Pearson served as the head women’s basketball coach at Cabrini University since 2009 before taking over the women’s program at Rowan University.
She was an all-conference player in both basketball and lacrosse and was named to The University of Scranton Athletics Wall of Fame in 2014. Pearson took over the program after spending five years as the assistant coach of the Cavaliers. Pearson has led her team to five conference titles.
Prior to entering the coaching ranks, Pearson was a standout dual sport athlete at the University of Scranton where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Pearson has vast experience working with youth camps along the Main Line and serves as the assistant camp director of the Cavalier Lacrosse School for ten years.
